Private Imlil

Set out on an early morning adventure from Marrakech as we head towards the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountain, embarking on a picturesque journey via Tahanaout, Moulay Ibrahim Gorge, and the charming Asni Village. Our ultimate destination is the quaint Berber village of Imlil, nestled at an elevation of 1740 meters (5705 feet). Here, at the foothills of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s loftiest peak standing tall at 4167 meters (13671 feet), awaits the starting point for captivating hikes and treks to Toubkal and its scenic surroundings.

Upon reaching Imlil, a warm welcome awaits as our local mountain guide greets us. From here, you have the option to either enjoy a mule ride or partake in a delightful hike, journeying through the picturesque Berber villages of Ait Souka, Targa Imoula, and Tagadirt. En route, we’ll be graced with the beauty of a mesmerizing waterfall before reaching the charming village of Aroumd, perched at an altitude of 1843 meters (6046 feet).

In Aroumd, an authentic Berber family eagerly awaits to share their hospitality, inviting us to a delightful lunch that captures the essence of the region. Revitalized and content, we’ll hike back to Imlil, taking in the breathtaking vistas along the way. As the day draws to a close, we’ll make our way back to Marrakech, cherishing the memories of this enriching journey amidst the magnificence of the High Atlas Mountain.
